Distance means nothing if the person means everything, but what does that mean?
While the people around walk past me like im just a silhouette of a nobody,
They stop and sees me as someone worth staying for, they see me and knows im more than what people say and think.
People say the distance is limiting,
But they don’t see every time we talk we meet in the skies,
Promise to meet in places like the world cannot break us apart,
Like our names were written in the universe and vowed for them to be met before the Earth ever existed.
People say long distance is hard,
But it’s not so hard when it’s someone you feel in your heart every day, someone who shows you that you’re worth it,
worth fighting for,
worth being alive for.
They see limitation,
what i see is
new ways to show my love for you.
For someone who’s not even here with me face to face,
but still be able to love me deeply,
shows that im not so hard to love.
Saying long distance is impossible ,
Is just admitting
you can’t love someone no matter.
They don’t see
the endless nights and days where we laugh for hours and feel the safest with each other,
They don’t see
where we meet in between galaxies and talk like nothing can limit us, because no one can, i dare them.
Dare i say
They are inestimable, irreplaceable, no one can compete with them,
That’s funny,
don’t even try to climb up to their level.
When i see their smile whenever they bless me with their beauty,
i feel my soul come out of my body and dance around excitingly then come back in.
I’ve never felt so daring in my life,
like i couldn’t give a damn
unless i have them by my side.
Im not a loser,
i ain’t a weak person,
im not someone who gives up,
im fighting for us, and i ain’t no quitter either.
Distance isn’t easy, but for them,
it’s worth it.
People say it’s easy to forget someone who isn’t face to face with you,
but that’s the exact opposite.
My heart has learned to see them in every cherry blossom, in all their favorites,
In every good and bad news,
in every video,
in every daily thing that i do,
but im not complaining, at all.
Every time i hear something,
They’re the first person who hears it, no matter what the topic is,
it becomes our little thing,
but it means the universe to me.
I buy things that remind me of them,
to feel a part of them with me always;
A bracelet with their beautiful eye color, plushies that remind me of us,
our little thing. two keychains where i save one for them,
Their presence is always there,
like if you get to know me truly
you get to know that beautiful angel.
It isn’t easy,
trying to break the barriers that people built between us and having hope that one day
we will be in each other’s arms,
we’ll hold hands and walk around the city, looking at the stars and admiring each other,
knowing that we worked hard for this,
For us.
No one feels the thrill we feel,
when we’re both dying of laughter over something stupid,
when we tease each other, when we have deep conversations we never even had with anyone else,
no one feels what we feel when we’re together,
and i couldn’t care less what anyone thinks, as long as i have them,
it’s worth fighting everything.
